Henry Ryland의 작품들 (화가)

English painter Henry Ryland (1856-1924)
Henry Ryland - painter, decorator and designer, born in Biggleswade in 1856. He studied in London at the South Kensington Art School and in Hatherley's. The most famous author's work - illustrations for the English fairy tale "Henny-Penny".
Sometimes Ryland wrote in oils, but more often worked in watercolors. Work style and themes were previously popularized by Lawrence Alma-Tadema and Albert Moore. Unlike Moore, the author rarely wrote nudity. Ryland watercolors became the basis for the posters and reproductions.
Ryland is also the author of stained glass and etchings that have been used in several journals, including the English illustrated periodicals 1880s and 1890s.
