Johann Nepomuk Ender (German: Johann Nepomuk Ender, b. November 4, 1793 Venag. - D. March 16, 1854 Vienna) - Austrian painter.
JH Ender for several years he studied painting at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. For the first time presented his picture (Death of Marcus Aurelius) at an exhibition at the Academy, and the work of the young artist was awarded. In 1818 Ender invited Hungarian Count Széchenyi Stephen participate in his journey through Greece and Italy. From this trip, Ender brings a lot of sketches, which subsequently became the basis for his art canvases. During his stay in Italy, the artist was able to meet with influential people, with whom he later had the opportunity to study at the Roman Academy of St. Luke.

In 1826 Ender returned to Austria, lives in Vienna and works as a freelance artist, primarily as a portraitist. One of the best works of the master is his Crucifixion, written by him in the years 1850-1852 for the Viennese St. Stephen's Cathedral. In addition to oil painting, IN. Ender worked as a copper engraving. Artists were also the twin brother of Johann, Ender Thomas and his son Edward.
